"Mickey"
Quaranteed
1996 APHA Sorrel Solid Gelding
son of Quorum |
Mickey was previously owned by Barbara Berrett who,
prior to her death, competed on Mickey in English and Western
and also thoroughly enjoyed trail riding. We thank Barb's sister, Beth
Myers, for entrusting Mickey to our care. Mickey will now be ridden
for the Posse, participating in parades, Search And Rescue, etc., and
with his background should make an excellent backcountry horse.
Mickey is a Breeding Stock Western Pleasure point
earner & Ride America 100 hour award with Barbara Berrett,
along with a variety of High Point Breeding Stock awards at APHA
shows, buckles, year end blankets, etc.

"Gold
Bar"
Super Gold Bar
AQHA / NFQHA palomino
1976-2003
In Memory
|
Gold Bar was used for backcountry trail, Drill Team,
mounted Search And Rescue, parades, and chased a few cows. Gold Bar
was a stallion until he was 12 years old. While he was a stallion, he
was often ridden by his owner on the ranch, in the mountains, and in
parades. Gold Bar retired due to failing vision in his early 20's,
sharing pasture with his herd buddies.
Super Gold Bar went to greener pastures in the sky at age 27.

"Slick"
Funny Face Too
1982 AQHA / NFQHA bay
grandson of Sir Quincy Dan (QH)
1982-2008
In Memory

Slick was a top notch backcountry trail and Search
And Rescue horse, and
resident "King of the Pasture." He found Drill Team too tame,
but always enjoyed any backcountry experience. He was always first
choice when we needed a
Search And Rescue mount ... tough and reliable. Most recently, Slick
came out of retirement to be my daughter's first 4-H horse...which he
enjoyed tremendously. Funny Face Too was taken from us by
wide-spread cancer in the abdomen. He showed minimal signs that
anything was wrong...a tough old guy until the end. We miss you
my friend. RIP |

"Scooter"
Jeromes Z Bar
1986 AQHA / NFQHA bay
grandson of Blondy's Dude (QH) |
Scooter has
competed successfully in Western & English Pleasure, Trail, and
Halter. He is a phenomenal Showmanship horse and competent in Reining and Hunter/Jumper to 2'6". He has
also put in a lot of miles on backcountry trails. Scooter became
"famous" locally when Christi
rode him in her wedding.
In his
"previous life", Scooter was a Team Roping horse. He
is now retired with a heart murmur.
